Carol Lowery Paper Holder September 22nd, 2018 - 02:26:57
Hey everyone in this video I'll, be making this elephant phone stand, which can also be used as a pencil holder for your desk. You don't exactly have to use it for your pencil, since you can also use it for your phone accessories, such as your cases, earphones charger, etc. I'M starting off by cutting out the template I'll be needing to make this elephant stand. Basically, all the shapes you'll need is one basic elephant and then a square but I'll leave a link to the template. I drew in the description.
I'm then going to trace the stencil onto some cardboard. There are supposed to be elephant cutouts for the sides and then three square shaped cutouts for the back middle and bottom. You can use scissors or an exact knife to cut out all the pieces using the three square pieces, I'm going to assemble the holder. That goes in the center of the elephant: . Then I'm going to attach this holder to both sides of the elephant.
You can actually paint your elephant before assembling all the pieces together, but I decided to paint it after, since I found it to be more convenient for me. I then painted on the eyes mouth and ears painting these on. Your elephant is actually optional, but I think it makes it look so much cuter. You can place anything you want in the holder, ranging from things like pens and pencils to even phone cases and then place your phone on elephant's trunk.
